Everything has quieted down now.
Improv eats up more time: I'm in a troupe and a couple of different shows, and I've been watching improv here and there. Dancing eats up less time: I skipped out on the Fed and GoDance this week, and didn't bother with the Saturday-night Jack-and-Jill contest. It all balances out, so I still wind up with enough time for reading & writing & playing guitar, and that makes me happy.
I didn't accomplish much of anything during the day on Saturday or Sunday. Mostly I just shopped around for warm clothes (for the upcoming Austin quasi-winter) without buying anything. But that's done now (went home, ordered stuff online), so hopefully I won't be frittering away more time blearily wandering through department stores.
The coming week looks slow and quiet and peaceful. I'll dance occasionally; I'll do improv occasionally; the rest of the time I'll putter around the house (no big errands this week). I get a few weeks of this before the rollercoaster starts up again.
The IAAF's standard distance for a marathon is 42.195km. This distance was set in 1908, when the London Olympics used a 42.195km-route from Windsor Castle to the White City Stadium.
