This month I started out reeling from November, which was swamped with dance and travel. I had to take a few deep breaths, get a few good nights of sleep, and then do a metric ton of overdue errands. It took me a week or so to claw my way back to normal everyday life. Then I kept busy with the usual improv and dancing and sketch-writing, but I was in a dismal mood -- most likely due to lack of sunlight and stress over buying new AV equipment.
After a week or two of this, it was time to fly off to Louisville for Christmas, which put real life on hold for a few days and gave me a chance to catch up with friends and family. Since then I've been mostly recovering from *that* trip.
January is coming up; everything should slow down in January. I am taking one trip, to Fort Lauderdale, on the 16th, but I don't think that should be too stressful. With luck, I'll cocoon up at home, turn off the Internet, and devote most of January to my usual silly artistic puttering.
