This week, I slowly crawled out from under this latest illness -- bronchitis, it turns out. I stayed home from work through the end of the week. I ventured out of the house exactly once, to catch the latest episodes of LOST, whereat I somehow succeeded in not coughing. Many fun things happened on Friday night, but I stayed home with my germs. On Saturday, I ventured out to see Star Trek. On Sunday, I went to a Shakespeare workshop for the Improvised-Shakespeare cast.
Since then, I've been back at the office. I've spent my nights quietly recovering at home, and trying to remember how to write and how to exercise. Today I feel completely over the bronchitis, but I'll have antibiotics running around in my system for the rest of the week, just to be on the safe side.
The week looks pleasant enough. It'll be nice to finally see the local dance crowd again. The pun-off is this weekend. I might catch an improv show. Generally, though, I'm just trying to resume the quiet, normal life that I had back in mid-April.
