what are the best TV and film adaptations of Dickens' work? Why, Little Dorrit, of course, as it stars Sir Alec Guinness. Actually, I've never seen it, but I've always wanted to.

Side note: the showrunners on LOST are Dickens fanatics. They said in interviews after Season 1 that they're also fans of Robert Anton Wilson. I'm the biggest RAW fan I know. I've read 15 of his books, some of them several times. I've considered drawing up some RAWprov, or Improvinatus!, as in, an improvised show based on the Illuminatus! trilogy, or on anything by Robert Anton Wilson. I think there'd be an audience for it, and some sweet marketing options as well, but so far, I haven't known of enough improvisers who know/admire his work. There's Marc and Roy, and that's it. Anyway, I'm babbling now, just brainstorming, typing out my thoughts as they come...
