I think the 10th had the shoes right. If you are going to be running around the universe, you need comfortable footwear. The duster was a nice touch, especially since many of the places/times he visited were cold and/or damp. The rest of the clothes, it's difficult to say. The Doc always wears a professional looking outfit. People would take him less serious if he wore jeans and tshirts. So, some kind of suit is a given. Jeans work with a nice suit jacket. A jacket with elbow patches seems stereotypical of university professors. If you have a vest, you could wear it with a brighter colored, button-down shirt (untucked). I like the idea of a hat, too, and a fedora or bowler seem more professional, than a beret, ballcap, do-rag, etc.. Plus, a sturdy hat is something the Prof could hang his hat on (like the gun pointed at him), or be thrown (at that far away switch on the wall). If you have a hat, the tousled mess might actually be more like hat-head. I like the flower idea, or something. Most of the memorable Docs had some kind of gimmick to distinguish themselves from the others: extremely long scarf, question marks, celery stalk, 3D glasses (which, by the way, I have a pair of red-blue kind in you need to borrow them). It seems to me the Prof would also be one of those smart dudes who is too busy saving the universe than really worrying about how bad they look ("It's a bow tie. Bow ties are cool.")

Ha! Thanks! I'll have to post the publicity photos once they're out. :)
