Wednesday (6/10/09) 11:03pm - ... wherein It's Wednesday.

Hello there, real life.  How have you been?

For those of you keeping score at home, the last month and a half has been:  sick, trip to Chicago, sick, two weeks packed with improv and dancing, then sick again.  Also, work has been gearing up to a software release, so employees at work have been running around in circles with their heads on fire.

Now I get to resume normal life.  I finally shook off the coughing and fever of the previous week.  This past weekend, I went dancing, I did an improv-Shakespeare show (in drag, no less), and I went to a game night at majcher's[1]  Since then, it's just been a quiet life for me.  I go to work.  I fix bugs.  I go home.  I putter.

The coming week looks a bit busier -- I'm busy with theater stuff for the next few nights -- but hopefully I'll spend the rest of my time sitting at home and doing artsy stuff.  At the very least, I get to not-be-sick and not-travel-anywhere.  May I never have less.

[1] ... whereat I somehow lucked into a victory at Ca$h'n'Gun$.  Nobody pays any heed to the quiet guy who patiently accumulates a big pile of money, I guess.

The Utterly-Useless Fact of the Week:
Human beings are the only primates who open bananas from the 'top' (or 'stem') end.
(Other primates open bananas from the 'bottom' end.)

I read your useless fact of the week while eating a banana. That made me happy. :)
