Thursday (11/12/09) 11:02pm - ... wherein Spanish fights with staggeringly-bad UI design.

Welcome to this week's installment of "Spanish for Everyday Situations".

This week's situation:  "You are using Lotus Notes."

[For more information about Lotus Notes, click here.]

It's showing me a blank dialog box with an OK button.  How zen.

I think it knows I'm seeing Thunderbird on the side.

Of course the key that does "refresh" in every other program does "lock me out of this program" in Notes.

Its appearance is 100% inconsistent with the OS, yet still 100% ugly.

It's perfectly reasonable for Notes to take down half my system resources -- after all, it runs both email *and* a calendar.

At least it's freeware.  Wait, what?  My company pays money for this?!

Por lo menos es gratiware.  Espere, ¿qué?  ¡¿Mi empresa paga dinero para esto?!

On the plus side, I now understand how Mac enthusiasts feel about PCs.

Still less evil than IE6.

Aún menos mal que IE6.

Note:  As always, these 'translations' are basically just Google Translator output, so corrections are welcome.

Ordinarily these are funny, but this hits too close to home. *shudder*.
